At a young age, I knew I wanted to be a Fashion Designer. Little did I know the path it would take me on full of art, travel, design, and success.
Working in the industry as a Professional Commercial Apparel Designer, I have designed RTW apparel for major retailers and department stores. Alongside my Knitwear (sweater) Specialization, my experiences includes designing Cut & Sew Knits, Wovens, overseeing Swimwear Collection, and doing so across different sizing (Straight/Petite/Plus). As a seasoned Designer, I have lead and supported the color, concept, and trend direction for different brands.
It's been important for me to continue pursuing my love of the complex fashion industry both professionally and personally. I aspire to be a Sustainable Fashion Designer looking to merge my experience as a designer and conscious consumer.
Outside of my professional career, I am a leader and volunteer in different organizations. In 2021, I joined the Fashion Revolution USA team as the Co-Regional Coordinator & Co-Lead for the Tristate Area/NY meanwhile actively supporting the Partnerships Team. I am a textile waste advocate working to reduce waste in textiles by supporting the local organization FABSCRAP though being a volunteer sorter and as a 2020 & 2021 independent fundraiser.
